I made an advance ADR for Princess Breakfast at 8:00 at Epcot. When I made them 180 days in advance the park opening said 9:00 a.m. Well now, it's 8:00. My question is can some members of my family ride test track and still be able to keep ADR? TIA!

15m is the norm. Sorry but can't see this working out for you. You also usually need all members of the party present at check in.

ok thanks! I'll probably let my older kids and husband try it and if they miss out on breakfast they won't care, probably be happy lol. And I can go with my younger kids. When I told them Epcot was now opening at 8:00 they wanted to cancel breakfast. But my younger ones said no way! What time does Epcot allow the 8:00 princess breakfast people in?

We had an 8:05, they only let us in a few min before 8. It'll be enough time for your DH to be in line for TT. Your older kids and husb will probly get more value out of riding TT, while the younger kids would get more out of the princess breakfast. It's a prefect split if you ask me. Saves you money (or points) too.

You should probably amend your ADR re the number of guests then, I know they don't mind 1 or 2 of a group not showing but I'd hate to hear you got charged $10 each for any no shows from your party

ADR Times and Tardiness "411":
1) WDW advises you to be at the ADR 15-minutes early.
2) You are expected to meet your ADR time, just like any other appt.
3) Being on-time is your responsibility, not that of WDW.
4) If late, they *can* cancel the ADR.
5) Under normal conditions, they usually allow up to a 15-minute lateness, but this is kindness, not a Grace Period.
6) If really busy, (eg, Free Dining, Holidays), there might be no Grace Period.
7) If you miss the ADR, you *might* have the ability to wait for a table.
8) For waiting times, there is no estimate, waits of 1-1½ hrs are common.
. . . if the eastery is not too busy, wait times could be minimal
. . . just depends upon the individual day-time-etc
9) They also have the option of canceling and just sending you away.
10) These options are at the discretion of the SEATER on duty at the podium.
11) Plus, it is up the the eatery manager to decide if you get charged the $10/person no-show fee.

They don't charge the no-show fee for partial parties, only if no one shows up from your party.

Don't forget that Test Track has the single rider line which is always much shorter than the regular line. Just an alternative so they can eat breakfast and still not have quite as long of a line. (or maybe eat and then leave, while you and the younger kids enjoy the princesses).

I have heard that you are not charged the $10 fee so long as someone from your party dines, so I wouldn't worry about that part. You might want to haunt the ADR and see if you can get a 9:00 or later reservation....I know that's not easy, but it does happen. Then you can do rope drop TT and the breakfast. The "late arrival" grace period is not always a given, especially in a fully booked restaurant like Princess breakfast.

Thanks everyone! Y'all are so awesome. Thanks about the single rider line tip. My dh and I have 5 kids and they are not use to being alone, lol. I don't know if our ten year would feel comfortable.
We will be checking in next week for mardi gras week. And Presidents' Day. Very busy. No free dining (I wish with our 5 kids)!!
I will check for a later ADR. Thanks!!

If all else fails those in my family who thinks tt trumps princesses can attempt. I and our other kids who are all things princess can check in. If they make it in time then okay if not those little suckers can starve!

Obviously all kids are different, so this is just an "outside the box" idea that we used when I had some kids that maybe weren't old enough to be alone off the ride. We put the eldest (teen) in the front of our group...that meant they went on as a single rider first....they then were at the exit waiting for the other kids to come off .....the adult (me) went last so that I was there for any problems that might come up and everyone was waiting for me when I got to the exit. Obviously if you don't have a second "responsible" person, whatever their age, this won't work for you....but if one of those 5 kids is mature enough to wait and corral the others as they get off, then it might work for you. As the last one to ride, I was able to make sure they got on the ride and buckled in properly.....even though they're sitting next to a stranger it's not likely that anything would happen on the actual ride (racing around a track at 60mph after all) and a responsible person is at the other end as soon as they're off the ride. Now, obviously, if you have a timid child who might not be happy about not having a parent or sibiling right beside them on the ride, this won't work. I have no idea, either, if there is a minimum age to ride single....my youngest was 9 or 10 and more than willing to ride alone.

And yes, next week with the holidays is going to be a busy one.....but hey, you're at Disney....it's better than being at home or work! Enjoy! We have a little over 2 months until Disneyland and 2 more months after that before WDW. I wish it was next week!
