how long does the parade of dreams last?

I'm wondering how long the parade lasts b/c it starts at 7pm in September but the park closes at 8pm. I'm wondering if there is time to ride a ride after we see the parade.
Does anyone know how long it takes for the parade to start in the middle of the parade route (since 7pm is the start time for the beginning point)?

Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams last approximately 15 minutes from when you see the first float along the parade route.

If you are in the middle of the route, I'd expect the parade to take 10+ minutes to reach you.
