how long does it take?

me and dw just bought 160 points on our last trip to the world on sept 19. how long does it take to get your user name and password to access the dvc website? Can you make your ressi's and bank points from the web site? thanks for you help

You need a Club ID and PIN to get in the first time. Once in, you set up your login name and password (or just link to it if you have already registered on a Disney website.) If you didn't get your Club ID and PIN with your paperwork, then call Member Services and they can give you that info over the phone.

You cannot make reservations online. What they call booking online is really using the website to send your reservation request to MS via email. Turnaround time is about 3 days. It's better to call.

You can usually bank online but they do disable this feature from time to time. The members' website (or rather, the database and the software behind it) isn't as stable and reliable as it should be.

I never got a user id or pin when we signed i was told that it would be mailed to us but i never asked how log that would take

I just went through this...
You will have to call Member Services and ask for Web Support. In talking with them, they will give you your club ID and a PIN. (Club ID is not the same as your member number.) From there, you will use those to create an account to access the member site.

The wife called about it today and they were very helpful. 5 minutes later, I was online paying my membership fees.

One note... and they dont tell you this... if you have an account on any Disney.com site such as Disneyshopping.com,etc... you go to DVCMember.com, log in with THAT userID and password then it will ask you for your club ID and PIN. From there, it associates your Disney ID with the DVC member site so you do not have to have multiple Disney-related accounts.
