It depends on which way you want to go.

1) Bus to MK...walk to Contemporary Marina

2) Bus To DTD, Bus to CR....walk to Marina

3) Bus to MK, Monorail to CR...walk to Marina

4) Bus to AK, Bus to CR...walk to Marina

5) Bus to MGM, Bus to CR...walk to Marina

6) Bus to MK, Boat to CR (probably the quickest, I don't know though)

7) Taxi to MK (the quickest if you are willing to spend the money.)

I'm sorry to say, AKL does not have a boat straight to CR. The Wilderness Lodge has the boat straight to the CR Marina. Anyway you go though, I would look at as little as 25 minutes to up to 1 hour. Good luck!

What time of day are you going?

The quickest Disney transport will probably be bus from AKL to MK, and then walk. Switching to the monorail has you walking almost as far in the opposite direction as taking the path to the Contemporary. I would say about 15 minutes from the time the bus arrives at AKL until you stand on the Contemporary dock. In our experience, we rarely waited more than 10 minutes for a bus at AKL, and often much less.

only if you're in a dead run....
it takes a good 10 to 15 minutes to get you to the MK from the AKL by bus....then from the busstop, if you walk at a liesurely pace (which is recommended if you're during this when it's hot out), it will take about 8 minutes to walk to the hotel (down the walkway and through the parking lot), and then (again at a liesurely pace) about 5 minutes to get through the hotel out to the marina....i would plan on at least a half hour, plus the wait time for the bus.....if you're trying to get there in time for a fishing or wishes cruise, i'd give yourselves a lot of spare time....why rush when you're on holiday?

i agree that it's better to walk than to go by monorail, since the busstop is already part of the way to the hotel...

Beth, I think you're right. I initially thought 20 minutes once the bus comes, but though that was a little long. It does depend on the weather!! We did it in January so it wasn't hot at all. 20-30 minutes is probably the average time.
