How long does it take to get from the airport to resort on DME?

Sorry if this has been asked eight million times, but I just couldn't figure out the best way to phrase it to get my answer.

Anyways, I'm wondering what the average time it takes to get from the airport to the resort using Magic Express. How long did it take you to get from the gate, to the check-in desk at your resort?

My flight arrives into Orlando around 2:00 p.m. Worst case scenerio, what is the latest you think I'd arrive at the Boardwalk?

We arrived on a Tuesday morning (10/18) at about 10:45 and we were at Pop Century & in our room within an hour. Maybe we were just lucky.

It depends on when the last bus left for you 'group' of resorts. If a bus just left it may be 30 minutes to an hour before the next bus leaves. Also it depends on how many stops they have to make before your resort.

Worst case an hour to 2 hours.

We have used DME three times already (all round trips); two of those were to the Boardwalk. From the gate to the resort check-in was at most 90 mins (full bus one long stop at CBR), and the other time it was just about an hour (nearly empty bus - one stop at POP). The final time we took it, we went to BC, with a (not quite) half-full bus and we stopped at POP, BW and YC before dropping us at the BC (and continuing on to AKL); final transit time was still less just 75 mins from the gate.

So I'd say count on 90 mins, and hope it's less. That would put your 2:00 arrival at MCO, and expected arrival at check-in at BW around 3:30, or still a half-hour before official check-in time.

(Note that our usual transit time in a rental car, picking up luggage, but renting using National's Emerald Aisle - so no counter - usually took about 90 mins from gate to check-in, and using a towncar was only a little bit less)

We arrived on 10/26 at apprx 1:20pm and there were 4 DME buses waiting! They go by where you stay etc... we had Four stops and our stop was the first SSR it took apprx 30 minutes from getting on the DME to arriving at the Hotel! On the way from BCV where we moved to after 2 days it took apprx 40 min from BCV TO MCO we stopped at Boardwalk and CBR to pick up people. It seemed to run very smoothly!
