How long does it take to get from AK to GF?

We are WDW veterans, but stay in our timeshare off property, so we have never used the Disney bus system. We will be traveling with people who will need to get from AK to the Grand Floridian on a schedule. Is there a bus from AK to the GF, or do they take the bus to the TTS and then the monorail? Any idea how long this trip would take? They would be leaving AK about an hour after the park closes because we are eating dinner at Rain Forest. Thanks, in advance, for your help.

There is a bus that will go from AK to GF. You will need to give yourself enough time with the line up of people leaving the park going back to their hotel. We have waited up to 30 mins to get on a bus and then it takes about 15-20 mins to get the GF. I also just want to make sure you mean leaving AK Park, not AK Lodge. If it is the park, then what I wrote you can follow.

Assuming you mean from the Animal Kingdom to the Grand Floridian don't forget after the bus leaves from there it will the stop at Blizzard Beach, because that has always been my experience. Also the Grand Floridian shares bus service with the Contemporary and Polynesian, with the 1st stop beiing the Contemporary, 2nd stop is the Polynesian and the 3rd stop is the Grand Floridian.

There is a bus from AK.

Leaves from bus stop #1 and shares with Wilderness Lodge with a stop at Blizzard Beach. The stop order is BB, WL GF.

Does NOT go to the Contemporary or the Poly.

Figure on about 20-30 minutes all told ( depends on guest levels and ECV loading times if required)
