how long does it take to close

Just curious I am going to putting a deposit on Friday and I am paying cash. How long does it take to get in the system so I can make a reservation and also how long does it take to close?

are you going through DVC? then I think you can made a reservation immediately.

if you are going resales - then it depends upon how busy they are. sometimes a few weeks - some people have reported 90 days.

I went through The Timeshare Store (resale) in Sept. I paid cash, so there was no financing. The transaction took about 4 weeks. I was able to get my Member ID # as soon as title cleared-before Ieven got the official paperwork. Did you go through a realtor or was it a private party sale?

I would not count on closing to be any sooner than 6 weeks, especially at this time of year. The bare minimum is 3 weeks as they have to wait for the two week right of refusal period to pass.

okay when I brought (yes it was 93) but then you make an reservation as soon as you put your deposit down with DVC.

How can you make reservations before you close?

You can make ressies before you close because most or all ressies will be after the close date, regardless. If you fail to close they just cancel the reservation. . .
