The photopass people MAY edit them out of your photos, so make sure you take a lot of photos with your own camera too.

We had a flat friend on my trip last month headache: note to self: START trip report!) and photopass edited her out of our pictures! Fortunately we had a bunch with her on our own cameras too.

The Flat people are fun though....take "her" with you!

I wish I could sew, but after many failed attempts, which lead to tantrums and very unlady like behavor........I've given up. If it can't be got glued, duct taped, or stapled my family is out of luck.

Sorry i haven't been around for a few days. Now i'm trying to catch up on everyone's TR's before I update my own.

Sad that Courtney can't go but understandable at the same time. It's good that she is such a good student and really cares about her GPA.

I like the lunch idea to surprise Brennan. The sandwich idea, etc. PERFECT!! It will get him wondering. Then when you check him out and he really see's what's happening he is going to be so shocked!

I need to find a mickey head shapped cookie cutter. I am still thinking about what I am going to do.

Those clothes are so cute!

I like the subtle clues in the lunchbox. I wouldn't go out and announce it...just maybe Mickey sandwich and if you can find some Disney-themed snacks or something to go along with it.

Have a fun time camping. Did you pick the coldest weekend of the decade or something? Stay warm! (Why do I feel funny telling somebody in Louisiana to "stay warm"? )

I am looking forward to sitting around the campfire. Faron only gets a weekend off a month and that is usually when we go camping. We love to camp. We don't tent camp we have a camper.

Faron doesn't want to do the photopass pictures this time. He hated to stop and wait for them to take our picture. But I am sure we will not get out of taking photopass pictures. I just need to talk her into letting me do it.

Ok, my new plan to surprise Brennan. I didn't talk to Faron about this yet so it might change. I will get everything packed when he is at school. I won't load it into the car. I will just leave it in the garage ready to be put in the car. When he leaves for school I am going to tell him that Faron has the weekend off. We had some trees plowed down after the hurricane and we have a HUGE pile of tree to burn (almost as tall as our house). I am going to tell Brennan that Faron might be burning the trees and that if he does it that day I will check him out so he won't miss the big fire. I can't have the suitcases in the car when I check him out because he will notice. When we get home I will tell him to go change his clothes so I can put his uniforms washing. When he is upstairs I will tell him that there has been a change of plans and I think we will just go to DISNEY WORLD. This is just one of my ideas I still need to go over it with Faron. It also depends on no one spilling the beans before. I know my moma and my MIL will want to be here to see his reaction. I will have to tell him they are here to watch Faron burn the big pile of trees. I will have to post a picture of our big pile of trees so you can get the picture. It is really big. I am really worried about what is going to happen when Faron does actually burn it. I hope it doesn't melt the vinyl sidding off our house. I also hope Faron doesn't have plans to burn it before we go. If he does I will have to come up with another plan.

I'm interested in seeing the pile of trees; you mentioned hoping it didn't melt the vinyl siding - I'm thining of the bonfires from high school when we had the fire dept. on hand!

I wanted our trip to disney world last mardi gras to be a secret. I closed my door to my room because the adr's that i made I changed my mind like many other DISers. Well my munchkin came to the door to ask a question and she overheard chef mickey's and ran as fast as she could to her brothers and told them . Can I say BUSTED!!!!


We watched some videos on you tube of surpise disney trips.


They had one the family was taking pictures outside of Port Orleans and they told the kids they were going to check in.

OMG that is hilarious! I can't believe she fit into a Build A Bear costume.

Its been quiet here lately. I hope everyone is doing ok. We had a nice weekend camping. I wanted to upload some pictures for you but they are not on my camera. I think Faron must have put them on the computer for me. I can't get to them because he changed his password and he forgot to tell me the new one. I will post pictures as soon as I can. I got my blue envelope from Disney today . I have a question for those of you from Louisiana. Are we the only ones that can't wait to eat rice and gravy again when we get home from Disney World? I mean it is fun to go to all the restaurants but I am ready for some good cajun food when we get back. I am seriously considering cooking some gumbo and freezing it. I can put it in the ice chest on the trip there. I can put it in the fridge when we check in. Then all I need to do is pack my little rice cooker and cook a pot of rice, microwave the gumbo and we have a good cajun meal. It sound like alot of trouble but it really is not. I can pack some plastic spoons and plastic gumbo bowls and just throw away the dishes. I can even throw away the container I freeze the gumbo in. All I would have to wash is the rice cooker pot.

It is kinda like a soup. You make a roux with oil and flour. I just buy roux in a jar. My SIL moved to Colorado and she has to make her own roux now because you can't buy it there. You fill a pot of water add roux and onions bellpeppers, chicken, fresh pork sausage(cut up) smoked sausage cut thin. You serve it over rice. When a cold front comes through over here everyone heads to the store to get the fixins to make gumbo. We also make potato salad and garlic bread to go with it. If you come over I will make Faron cook you some.

Faron cooks it with a spicy cajun seasoning called "Slap ya mama". It depends on who makes it. Sometimes Faron makes his so spicy you sweat when you eat it. They serve it at Brennan's school and it is not spicy at all the kindergarteners eat it. I have a little cajun cook book that tells you how to make alot of the things we eat here. I need to get another one and send it to you sometime.
