How long do you normally go to WDW for

Either three nights (Thursday through Sunday) or a week (Saturday through Saturday).

On our long weekends, we usually just do USO/IOA and stay on site over there. On our longer trips, we reserve four days for WDW and three for USO/IOA and stay at our timeshare.

9 or 10 days is perfect for us. We always include Universal and Sea World. This year we are only going for 8 and are skipping Sea World. 24 days...

I also think 7-10 days is perfect. We feel in 7 we can get alot of Disney stuff done and with 10 we can get some down "vacation" time and a day outside WDW. By around day 10 we're tired enough to go home. Last month we stayed 9 nights and got in some down time, lunch and shopping at City Walk and a day at Siesta Key Beach (Sarasota)! WDW and that beach=the best of both worlds!! YUM!

We generally do 8 days. Thursday to Thurday or Wednesday to Wednesday. We spend all of our time in WDW at the parks and maybe some Mini-Golf.

We just went in September. It is just DH and I. We did the parks for 6 days. We did not do any water parks or have an off day. We were at the parks from opening till closing. I think the perfect time would all for 2 days in each park and then maybe a off day just to relax.

This last trip we went for 7 nights. Still not long enough! I would LOVE to go for 2 full weeks. That way we could drive to the beach a couple days, and go to Sea World too!

I should have added in my original response to the OP that when our kids are older, we'll definitely go to Kennedy Space Center. I don't have any interest in going to Universal, but when the kids are older we may have to take them there (I'll be the one kicking and screaming "No, don't take me away from Disney!") :rotfl2:

We go once a year. Last trip, January '06, we stayed 10 nights, had a blast! Up until that year, we stayed around a week each trip. This trip, January '07, we are staying 12 nights, we will only be in the parks for 10 days. The other days we are going to shop and take it easy. I am so excited, I don't think I will ever be able to stay at WDW less than 10 nights again. My hubby has created a monster! LOL

We have a one year old and a three year old. This year we stayed at the Pop and we were there 7 days (6 nights). We saw everything we wanted to see in the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and MGM. We were not able to make it to Animal Kingdom. It just takes some extra time folding up strollers and making sure the kids get to nap (we went back to the room for about 3 hours every day). We did not go outside of Disney. We are going to add a couple of days to our trip next year so that we can have some time to spend at the Animal Kingdom.

Stay in WDW, but we normally try for 14 nights, tho' I have gone for as few as 7 nights. Just returned from a 21 night trip two days ago - awesome!

We are going for the first time in May, for 7 days and 6 nights. I would like to stay longer, but DBF can't get any more time off work. We won't be doing the waterparks, and we're using the evening of our arrival day (We fly in around 3 pm) to see Downtown Disney. So, we've figured one day for each park plus an extra day to see what we've missed, and arrival and departure days.
I think we'll be ok. But if we had water parks, or other area attractions planned I would want to stay 9-10 days.

usually 4 nts/5 days is plenty for us.
about all we can afford too since DH is a deluxe snob.
we go during off season and try to minimize the # of days kids will miss school

We go for at least 5 days in the park...I prefer 6 or 7, but we can't always do that.

We usually stay between 7-10 days. This last trip was short, only 5 days. We desided it was way too short for us, even though we have been going twice a year. We are DVC members and only stay onsite. We haven't ventured off Disney property since 1998!!LOL I think next time we will stay about 9 days and rent a car to take the kids to Seaworld.

Usually for 5 nights, and that is never long enough. Some day soon we will go and stay in FL for a month, (looking for a "snowbird" home) and do non-Disney stuff for the first time in over 10 years.

It seems like our trips get longer each time we go.
1993- stayed 1 night, did 1 park day
1997- stayed 2 nights, did 2 park days
2002- stayed 3 nights, did 1 park day
2004- stayed 4 nights, did 3 park days, DTD, and TL (extreme commando touring)
2005- stayed 7 nights, did 5 park days, DTD, DQ, and BB with 2 R&R days

For our January trip, we are staying 7 nights, doing 6 park days and 1 DTD/R&R day- inOctober/November, we hope to stay 8 nights, do 5 park days, and have 3 R&R/DTD/TL or BB days.

The 3 times we have gone we always go for 12 days but 2 of those are driving. We usually head to WDW first and then to the west coast to the inlaws for shopping for 2 days. We usually stay at WDW for at least 4-5 days. One day for each park and a extra for MK. :wizard:
