Until I accidentally snag the strap as I pull a blanket out of the closet, the camera bounces off my head (nifty scalp wound) and smashes to the floor.
That was my Minolta SLR, two years old. Broke into several bazillion pieces.
Now if my Canon F-1 from the early 70's had fallen on my head, I would have been out cold but the camera would still be intact.
Currently have a teeny tiny Minolta digital that when the flash goes off everyone's eyes in the picture looks like they're in the Village Of The Damned.
Really, really want a Nikon G series digital SLR. Hopin' Santa brings me one this year...
