How long do dinners take at Brown Derby & Narcoossee's?

I feel like we're crunched for time with these meals (Fantasmic & Wishes just a bit over 2 hours after our ADR times). I'm a really fast eater (I credit this to having had 2 babies and scarfing down meals in between taking care of them... :rotfl2:) When we arrive for our meals should I let them know that we're in a bit of a hurry? Will they bring out our food quicker this way or do they still space it out to where it's going to take us 2 hours to eat?

I have to tell you that I was disappointed in the reservation system when it came to Brown Derby this trip. We walked into the lobby and I have never seen so many people waiting to eat. In the end, we waited over an hour to be seated. We love it here, and I will go back. If you are in a hurry to eat though, you may be in trouble. Hope everything works out. By the way, our food was delicious!!

They are no different than any other signature when it comes to duration of the meal. You can expect for it to take no less than an hour and probably no more than two hours, but these estimates can obviously vary depending on staffing and demand.

As the previous poster stated, this also does not account for your wait to be seated. In most cases at a signature, you shouldn't be waiting for more than five or ten minutes, but it's always possible that something goes wrong during the day and reservations get backed up.

Two hours between your meal time and your Fantasmic time might be enough, but you'll be pushing it even at an average meal duration. You might get away with Wishes, though. You could always watch the show from the deck at Narcoosse's, too, you know. They pipe in the music and everything.

Thank you. It's really not a HUGE deal if we don't make it in time since we've seen both shows already... I'm just hoping the meals don't seem to drag. My 5 year old will get restless :) I'll try to arrive a bit earlier to make sure we get seated on time.
