How long did you wait to buy BWV from DVC?

Just called our guide yesterday to do an add on at BWV - 75 points, June UY.
None were available, so we're on the waiting list.

Just curious how long others waited for BWV. Looking at the TSS resale list, doesn't look like June is as available as other UY's?

Waiting for the phone to ring is making us nuts!

I just bought into BWV for 150 points last month with no problems. I have an October use year. We had no UY preferences, so maybe that's way it was easy?

We only waited 10-11 days for our BWV add-on to come through. They didn't have any of our use year available when we called either, but 10 days or so later I saw our CC had been charged the $500 deposit, I called MS and they said we had our points.

About a month ago there were 200+ points at BWV for June use year. In the two weeks it took me to pull the trigger, they were gone. I have been on the wait list for add on for a couple weeks now. My guide says it could be weeks or months...no idea. So we wait.

We bought over 300 BW points and didn't have to wait at all -- albeit that was back in 2000, before the resort was sold out.

I have a Dec. use year. I added on this past November and again just last week. Both times I got the points immediately.

My guide mentioned that DVC has been exercising ROFR on a lot of BWV points lately.

In Feb. 2005, I had to wait 16 days, the wait was killing me! They will come!
