No early voting or choice of where to vote here, but thankfully, we sent out a notice at work giving people the right to adjust their schedule however they chose in order to make sure that they had an opportunity to vote today. Several of us left between 3-3:30, in order to beat the 'on-the-way-home-from-work' crowd. I literally walked into the school cafeteria around 3:55pm that is the polling place for my district (and 3 other districts) and had no one ahead of me in line. My partner was there around 8am and waited about 35 minutes. We live in a a town that is pretty politically active, but there are a lot of folks who commute into NYC, so I'm guessing the lines at 6am were probably the worst.
