How long can we hold onto our papers...

I mean they list the closing date and also they send the paper that says please send them back within 7 days or else.
But if we hold them back do they immediately cancel them? Even if you've put down a downpayment?

There is no official time frame, but from everything I have heard, a few weeks to a month isnt going to affect anything. We are going to take about 3 weeks to get ours back in and our guide just said that he would make a note in our account so that quality assurance will know when they call.

Our guide told us 30 days before they will have to redo the contracts and change dates.

Our guide said that there isnt a number of days that they require you send it back in. He said that if you call and let them after a few weeks that you are still working on it that they will just mark it down on your account. Id call your guide just to make sure.
