How long can it take?

Ok, now I'm not the most patient person when it comes to having things get done, but the wait time in buying a resale is really getting to me. True, its summer things are bound to be a bit slower going, but I passed ROFR on 6/22 and have been waiting, and waiting, yes and waitng since then to just get the darn thing through title. Ok I know, in the scheme of things 2.5 weeks is not that bad, but I'm going nuts! Does it always take this long for title?

I don't think I understand your post. Are you waiting for the closing documents to be sent to you and the seller? If so, yes, it can take that long, or longer.

Or, are you waiting for the seller to execute their documents and return them?

Hi, I'm in the same boat. Passed ROFR on the same date as you, but I still don't have the closings docs. I was told the delay was with the title and Disney providing the final paperwork which I guess would be the status of the old contract in terms of points.

Yes, I haven't receive the closing documents yet. However I am glad to here that its normal, they didn't just shove my paperwork into a dust pile! Good luck GGjertson, I hope they come through for you soon!

Yay!!! Finally received papers yesterday afternoon! How about you GGjertson? Sent them back out right away, so now the final wait begins! So excited!
