How long are y'all seeing for trip refunds?

We canceled our trip 12 days ago and we've only gotten a refund for two small payments. The cm I spoke with when we canceled said that it might take up to 10-12 days for the refund... Well today is day 12! Just wondering how refunds are going for other folks, and if we move need to call Disney.

Disney issues the refunds pretty quickly, but sometimes the bank/credit card can hold them up. Mine were posted within 24-48 hours to the 2 different cards I used.

You can call and ask if Disney's initiated it on their end, but some credit cards are notorious for taking their sweet time.

My bank showed the first payment the morning after my call with Disney, same with my husband's credit card. We're just thinking it's odd that it's been so long on the remainder... Is it maybe because we split everything into 5 or 6 payments?

Nah, they should run all the refunds at once....mine was 3 to 4 payments on 2 different cards....but maybe because you had rescheduled your trip, the other refunds are associated with the first trip or something like that?

On hold with Disney right now trying to get an answer, because the refund still hasn't come through. Chat is grayed out on the website (full) and I've been on hold for 45 minutes so far... :/

Anyone deal with cancelled trips and refunds going on Disney Gift Cards? How long does that take to turn around? We are trying to plan ahead in case our April cruise gets cancelled and if we have enough time to rebook for a WDW trip. I bounced it off my travel agent and she seemed clueless. She tells me to contact Disney gift card people...... Am I wrong in thinking she ought to be looking into that?

We canceled our May 2020 trip that was paid with Disney GCs and it was pretty quick, faster than the deposit refund (I put that on my Chase Sapphire Preferred).

Ok thx, we are just trying to figure out if we could rebook possibly for WDW and travel over April vacation slated for the same time, or if we should aim for the end of the year.
