How Long are Lines for the Shamu Show?

I'm wondering how far in advance I should plan to get in line for the Shamu show. I pray this isn't comparable to Fantasmic!

PS - We will be there the first week in April.

I think we got in line about 6.15 or so for 6.30 show. The crowd outside always seems really big but the stadium is huge and we've never been refused entry because it was full

First week of April is Spring break. Spring break tends to be busier. Get to the stadium an hour to 45 minutes before posted show time for the best seat. If you don't care where you sit get there 15 minutes before posted show time and you'll probably sit in the very back corner.

I think that's the important point. You are unlikely to be blocked out completely, so how early you arrive really is dependent on where you want to sit. If you want to be front and center, then arrive early, but arriving later is not a big problem since most seats are excellent in my opinion.

Seats in the front portion are labeled "soak zone." The availability of those seats close to show time may depend on the weather. That means you may want to arrive early if you want those seats on a very warm day, or you may want to arrive early to avoid having those seats be your only choice on a very busy cool day. Generally, I think that you will usually find seats in the rear corners even close to show time.

We were at SW on Friday, march 11th, and their was an announcement through the parks PA system that Believe was full to capacity for the 1 pm show. But they only had 2 shows that day! It has been a busy March Break here, lots of Ontario plates!
