How long ago was DVC booked for Prez Weekend?

Just wondering how far in advance to plan next time. I realize it is busy, but my kids have school off that whole week. It probably will be a good time to take advantage of my DVC.

I was able to switch into the BWV's from the BCV's at exactly 7 months. They didn't have standard rooms available at that point but since the points are the same as the BCV, that wasn't a big deal.

For Prez week I would book at the 11 month mark.

I booked VWL at the 7 month window. I wouldn't press my luck after that, though.

Have you tried booking yet? Did you try SSR? I booked SSR for Monday before Prez week just this pasted week. Then checked every day this week for Wilderness Lodge and it came through today.

I had VWL booked at 11 months. Forgot to call at 7 months to switch to BWV. By the time I called, I had to go on the waitlist, but it came through in January. That's a busy time, everyone in the northeast has off!

As for "President's Week"...
Did it a day or two just under 6 months!
MS gave us tue-sat & was waitlisted for mon....then mon.
came through on 8/25.
Obviously, the seven month window would have given
us more choices. My advice, don't go past the 7th month window!
