How long after ROFR does it take to have account set up for new member. Ours went to DVC on 3/27. Hoping to hear this week that it has passed. But no idea from that point to title completion to account set up.

After it passes ROFR, it's a function of how quickly the title company handling the closing provides those final docs and how responsive the seller (and you are) in turning those docs (and money) back in. Some title companies provide docs the next day, some may take a week or two. Same thing with sellers returning docs, especially if there are multiple people listed on the deed.

After ROFR, you still have to go through closing. You'll have been given a closing date on your initial paperwork so that's your worst case scenario (technically they can ask for an extension but that's rare and you can refuse it). After ROFR, everyone has to sign the final documents. The sellers have to get a notary, so that can be slow if the sellers aren't motivated or live in a rural area or something. Once all your documents from both sides are in and the final balance has been wired, it's typically about a week or so for closing. Some companies are taking longer to close right now because of the glut of sales going on. For a new member, plan on about 3 weeks for Disney to set up the account, then another week-ish until you actually have the points.
