How long a wait for Fantasmic early Jan?

We have a PS for the Fantasmic Dinner Package on Sun 1/9, but am wondering if we'll really need it? We have several other dinners set up, and could possibly just wing it and go with the masses to Fantasmic. Any thoughts?

If you want a dinner that night, keep the ressie. We've never been in Jan, but from what I've heard there's always a line to get into Fantasmic. The worst that happens is that you have the ressie and decide to still go with the masses to Fantasmic if the park doesn't look busy that night.
