How likely to snag a cancellation July 4 ?

Hi ! We just booked our first trip to FW arriving June 29 and checking out July 4th .... We've wanted from the beginning to check out on the 5th or the 6th ...but it wasn't available ;( so I've been checking online every day, multiple times a day hoping to catch a cancellation for July 4th to extend our stay at least 1 more day . Am I just wasting my time ? How likely is this to happen ??

On a side note .... We will also be at FW Thanksgiving week !! We''ve been to Disney several times but just bought our RV about 5 months ago ....so it's FW time !! Yayyy !!

We got a last minute site last year for the 4th-6th, about 6 days before. Room only reservations can be cancelled up to 5 days before check in, so there are cancellations at the last minute, Good luck!

I would also suggest calling instead of using online. The online reservations and updates have been reported by several people in the past to be delayed.

Keep calling, those last minute cancellations can and do happen.
