Ok what do you when you have :

sore throat, sneezing, and ears hurt... I had felt all this when I got home... am trying to ignore it had some tea , ADvil and dose up with Vit C .... I dont want to hit on antibiotic yet ... just in case its something mild.. any home remedies you can share ???

awww I miss mine ... when they retired they decided to trek back ... they have been bouncing from one country to another... all the places we had lived... my moms logic was the last time they were there they were to busy to check out the place... so now they went back to enjoy the scenery. We talk alot on the phone but I wish they are just next doors...

I can't imagine not having my parents close. We lived 1000 miles apart for less than a year (after college)...I couldn't do it. I called my dad one morning and said to come help me pack. We live 10 min apary now and DH knows, where they go, we go and vice versa.

Mine don't live near me either. They live in CT, but they are in Miami for the winetr. I see them a few times in the winter. They will be here next weekend.
Not sure about my Dad, he may have to fly home any day. My grandfather isn't doing well. They may move him to Hospice on Monday
I'm so lucky to have grandparents at my age.

He's 90, but he was fine up until a few weeks ago. Then he just went downhill fast. Some kind of cancer and it spread rapidly. They don't even know what kind he had because he came in too late. I guess you can't complain about living until you're 90!

He divorced my grandmother when my dad was a teenager. Both his wife and my grandmother are still alive. My grandmother is going to be so upset when she finds out. They have been keeping the illness from her, not sure why. She's still madly in love with him after all these years.
His wife was her best friend, he left her in the hospital with twins to be with the friend. Can you imagine the scandel way back then?

Hello love. He's snoring. Nothing sexciting here either.

Ok really. No big changes. His last blood test showed his blood levels way too low. Why? Who knows. He has been on the same level of cumadin (sp? I should know but I'm not getting up to check) for ages. Now his blood level (INR) was 1.2 It should be between 2 and 3 WITHOUT the help of drugs. That is very likely what is causing the foot problems but we have to wait and see.
