We just got our homeowners renewal in the mail. Our hurricane premium doubled!! It's now $8,000.00!! That was with a discount, because we have never made a claim!
How on earth do they expect people to pay this? What about people on a fixed income? Between our taxes and insurance we are now paying $1,200.00 a month!! that is a mortagage payment.
I'm so pissed off. I can't believe they are allowed to go up that much.

Ok I conquered the snow and now am at work till midnite... lets just hope and pray that tmy relief gets in coz am not planning to be here for VD breakfas....blech for hospital food

snow stopped but not its raining and later tonite when it is time for me to go home the temp is going to the deep end part of Rt 95 is already closed due to black ice... and I dont want to be stuck here at work... waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

How was your day.... Hopefully I get to go home so I can watch "The Prestige" ....

Last Nite... played boxing and golf with dsis Wii till the wii hours and woke up at around 11AM .... log on line.. cooked lunch and baked some heart shape cookies for breakfast for the kids at home. Nieces and nephew are home since they have alot fo unused snow days they have VD off...

Wow! please be careful driving home tonite.

It is really cold & windy here on our little mountain top.
the snow is supposed to start here at 3 am, they are predicting 6 to 20 inches, depending on what website you checkout.

DH has a 170+ mi drive (RT) to work & he is not leaving until 3 am.
I wish he would not go in.

So take care driving home--no more posters in the hospital!
Uh..unless you work in one!

A friend of mine, many years ago, was 8 mos pregnant & told me the minute the weatherman forcasted a blizzard, she knew she was going to deliver!
They live out in the country, down a looong dirt road.
Anyway, her DH wound up delivering her! Mom & baby healthy, TG!
Her Dh says to prepare, he gulped down a beer, & washed up
A few days later, with the aid of anowmobilers-- they got a pedie nurse in there.

Now be safe young lady!

can you believe this ???? I left work at 11:30PM and am just getting home.... 1:10AM .. work is only 22 miles which takes me about 35 to 40 minutes to go home on a good nite... can you imagine that 170+ drive
