How Late Do you DIS ??? Dis @ Nite!!!

Hi guys.... am here,,, just had a a very very looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong day....

This morning when I got home and got ready for bed... about a couple of winks my niece called me and her water broke. Well the dh of hers is new in the area and could no DL yet to drive. So had to rush to the next town and rush her to the Hospital. Left the DH of hers around 4AM and try to grab those couple winks again. Forgetting that I have to be up at 7AM since I have an 8:00AM appointment at the car dealer for the 1st 5000 miles check up of my . Got to the car service and wainted there for 2 hours . While waiting I got a text message from niece's DH and she had the baby C section at 8:19AM since when they tried normal delivery the baby had turn blue already from pushing and the cord got entagled with the baby's neck , the baby is 8 lbs 5 oz from a 4'11 woman 32 inches long At around 8:30AM got another text message from NJ another cousin's DH passed away on the table while going through a triple by pass . He is only 37 . At 10:30AM car was done and :drive home. Got home at around 11:20AM and went back to sleep. Had a couple of hours and left for work at 2PM By the time I got to work there was a meeting going on so I have been stuck in that meeting since 6PM with no food and sleep Whew! now it is all done and tomorrow brings in a new shcedule

am starting to get used to this kind of schedule : and I have about 6 years of it too if you believe in my grandmom's way of thinking.... these are the times I tell myself am really adopted . My grandmother whos my mom's mom is chinese and believes that every one's luck changes every 7 yrs. I had a good 5 cycle streak from the day I was born till 2005, 2006 started my 6th cycle and this would last till 2012 and you dont want me get into the other 3 parts of my cultural heritage.. LoL I feel like a museum of superstition beliefs and sayings..

As off 9:30Pm tonight I found out I have a shorter day tomorrow. I get done at 10:30PM then off I go visit my godsons... they were upset this morning since the 17 year old cat had passed away valentines day. My godsons are 8 and 1 y/o

Glad the baby was okay/ Are you sure that baby was 32 inches? I have never heard of a baby being that long at birth. Wow!

Sorry about the cousin's DH, very tradgic. And the kitty Hope the Godsons are okay.
Good thing you will be visiting them soon to cheer them up.

I was thinking a typo - maybe 23 inches but, even that is LONG for a newborn!

My son was 22 inches and that was long. My Daughter was 19 inches, about average.

Wow...lots happening! I am glad that baby and mommy are good. Sorry to hear about your family's losses.

HIya Peeps... Am getting off early tonight here at work. In 20 minutes I will be in route to Bayonne,NJ to help relatives prepare and or just watch the kids while the adults do adult stuff for the wake . I will be back on Sunday night or Monday Morning . I have not talked to my niece to confirm the 32 inches

I usually stay up until 2-5a.m. I think that when you get older you just don't want to sleep all that much. How's the weather there???We have about 8 or 9 in. of snow and 1-2 more tomorrow. But it sure is cold out, 9 right now. Sorry...seem to rattle on and on.

I'm an hour later than you...it's only 10:06 here...the night's still young! I usually go to bed between 12 and 2 am.

I hear y'all are going through some awfully cold weather! I actually used to live very close to Detroit and most my family and friends are still there. While I miss it at times, during the winter I am grateful to be in warm Texas. Well, I use the term warm very lightly. We were in the 50's today - a little chilly - while last Monday we were in the 70's.
