Back from Tampa...

Ver interesting trip. I saw a house being moved via boat on the way. lol I thought I was imagining things. Luckily I read about it in the paper the next day, so I wasn't losing my mind.

When we went back to the hotel to changebefore dinner, Secret Service was at the entrance of the hotel. They searched the shuttle, had bomb sniffing dogs, nad searched underneath with mirrors. I was kind of nervous about what was going on because they wouldn't tell us.
So, we changed and went down to the bar. The bartender told us it was because the president of Afghanistan was going to be staying the night.
Then, they put the whole hotel in lock down for 45 minutes! I was kind of mad. We missed our fireworks show and most of dinner.
They had snipers on the roof too.

Came home to an email from my teen DD, she got her nose pierced. I'm not a happy camper

just got home here myself... should be packing but I am going to watch a movie 1st.. The LAke House with Sandra Bullock.... I saw the Il Mare which is the original korean version and loved it ... wondering how this one would stood against it

staying till Wednesday... a few Diser got there already and had been calling us to tell us how crowded it is at POP. Just on our crazy thread along there must be a hundred Diser family checking in at PoP we're going to be DISing LIVE

ahh, a lot of FL residents have a very long weekend off from school. My son has Monday & Tuesday off. We'll se in Sea World Sunday, Monday & Tuesday. We may eat at Spoodles Sunday night if we can get in.
I'm trying POP for the first time Oct. 22nd.

Yikes! Cr*p! It's not like anybody would possibly want to off the Prez of Afghanistan, is it?! Yep, with those handy-dandy, radical fashion/political chic suicide belts, if nothing else & go through any number of people to accomplish that.

A nose ring: it is our duty as parents to grin & bear it.
DSis' girls had their tongues pierced. They did it just 2 days before vacation. DSis said nothing when DNieces 1 & 2 ordered orange juice with breakfast. DNiece24 no longer wears her tongue stud. We're still hoping DNiece22 will get rid of hers~

ANTSS2001--enjoy your movie! We saw it in the theatre & liked it. Now I know there is an original version, I'd like to see that.
