We have a ressie for Dec that my 21 yr old nephew says he is coming with us. But I am worried about adding him and then having him cancel at the last minute and me losing all that money.

I am wondering if I can add him 5 days before the trip if he really does end up going.

We are going to Universal for 5 nights before WDW and spending one night on the flight. So I could add him once we are on the way so that I know he is really going to go and also because he has legal issues that may prevent him from going into the states that I don't know if he will have dealt with like he is supposed to.

So could I add him say on Dec 11th, when we are scheduled to check in Dec 17th ? Would I be allowed to do that ?

You know I would just simply call Disney and ask. I think that is something you need to make sure you are getting the correct answer, not someone who "thinks" they know. I would just make the call tomorrow.

I am a foster parent and we really battled with who would be here when we traveled. It's easier to delete than add. I was really encourage to buy insurance to cover iffy guest don't forget lairfare. It turn out I was able to get a true number and didn't have to add insurance. Good Luck

Sounds like you and I might have the same nephew....

i know they allowed me to do so.and i was changeing it basically to the last minute.. i added and took off the same chold like 3 times.(then when we got there he wasnt on it and they added him on the spot) but again it was a child ,and i dont know if being an adult will make it different. also just cause someone let one person doesnt mean that another cast member will....so i do agree you might want to call and explain it to them.and ask them !. however.. now with that...i was told 2 different answers by 2 different cast members when i called in about the dining plan.. ..kinda like when you ask on here you get 2 (or more) different views .so good luck!!!

I added my 22 YO DD when I checked in at the Poly. As long as you aren't over the limit in the room I don't think it is a problem.

I just called and asked and you can make changes up until check in at any time he said.

So I am going to wing it and see how it goes LOL
