We've been there for lunch, but not for breakfast. Is the food decent in the AYCE skillet? Are there the same antics at breakfast that they do for lunch and dinner?

I know that we'd probably find better food elsewhere, but dh has never been to WL and part of our reason for doing breakfast there is to let him check out the resort and have a nice, sit down (non-buffet) breakfast all in one fell swoop.

Sorry you're not getting any responses! I'd like to know the answer to this, too - we've eaten at WCC many times for lunch and dinner, but not breakfast.

We have breakfast here at least two days out of 14 every year on holiday. I personally am not a big fan of dinner at WCC, but breakfast is wonderful. We always get the skillet although I keep swearing I am going to try the French Toast one of these days. With the exception of Boma it is our favorite place for breakfast at WDW. The skillet is great. We always have seconds on everything but the eggs and potatoes. This is because my DH doesn't love eggs and I can only eat so many. (That said this is the one place he will occasionally have a spoonful.) The potatoes are good, but the Bacon, Sausage, Buttermilk Biscuits and Waffles are excellent. We have taken our extended family of 8 there as well and everyone left happy.

Now as far as the shenanigans... We go at 7:30 so we can hit the park at opening afterward. It is lovely and quiet at that hour, but the wait staff will still play with you a bit. It's not like when it's completely full and my husband had to get up and sing about being a flower with all of the other men there. But that suits us at 7:30 in the morning.

Do go and have a good time. :goodvibes If you go after 8:15 you should get a ADR just in case.

Hope that helps.

Mel

P.S. I always get a breakfast smoothie and water, but my DH usually has a bottomless shake. You should have seen my mom's face when he ordered it. Priceless...

Thank you for posting your WCC breakfast experience, Mel! I'm glad to hear that you've had a good breakfast there. :thumbsup2
