how is the weather in March

We went end of March this year, and the weather was great. Warm but not too hot - sunny and 80-85ish. It got just a bit nippy at night, but not too bad. There were a few days where it would have been fine to do waterparks.

I would think the water would be a little cold though. I don't think they'd have enough consistently warm weather to make the water warm. But we did not go to the waterparks, so that's just my opinion, not based on experience!

Even thought the pools are heated at WDW, the water is never that warm to me and when the air is cold it is miserable when you get out.
The problem with a water park is that you HAVE to keep getting out and waiting in line for the slides.
If you are from the north standing in line wet in cool temps may not bother you at all. We southerners would not be able to do it.
You may have to play it by ear and decide when you get there. Also, if the high for the day is 75 that means it will be that warm for a few minutes at the hottest part of the day. Mornings and evenings will still be chilly.

We go during the second or third week of March every year. IMO, this is the absolute best time of year to go. It is still nasty cold here in Ohio, so we are thrilled to be in the warm weather. It is almost always in the mid-80's (and has hit 90 occasionally). Shorts and t-shirts with sandals for the kids and DH, capris and short sleeve shirts for me. We take spring jackets for cool evenings---but don't always need them.

We spend several hours in the pool everyday. They are heated and the outside air is pleasantly warm.
