How is the view from either Poly garden concierge or Poly reg. lagoon view?

We're thinking of taking another trip in 2006 and since I like to plan ahead, was looking at prices for Poly. We never stayed there and thinking of trying it. Looking at pricing....I was thinking of either regular lagoon view or concierge garden view as they're close in price. We've done lagoon view concierge at both YC and BC, but I'm wondering if its worth it to do both, or which would be more important....view or concierge? We'll be traveling w/a 5yo and 2yo at that point in time. Thanks!

I was in the same boat as you!!! What a decision and if I remember about a $5.00 difference right? Go to www.tikiman2001.com he has put together an awesome site to help you see where your view possibilities would be.
Lagoon view has more building choices, where as concierge is only at the Hawaii longhouse. The front of the longhouse facing the lagoon is lagoon concierge so you get a view from your room, however garden concierge is along the back of the building w/ a nice view of the grounds. Again, However.....the concierge lounge faces the lagoon, so you can get a great view while in the lounge of the lagoon. I hope that makes sense. Good luck in your choice!!

If it were me, I'd chose the lagoon view. For me it would not be cost effective to use the concierge.
We are staying in the Poly in December and I went for the lagoonview, it just seems like it would be so nice to look out over the lagoon and hopefully get a nice view of the castle as well.

We love the Poly Concierge. I would highly recommend staying GV concierge versus lagoon view with no concierge. The GV rooms in the Hawaii building have a view of the quiet pool, trees and tropical plants. The concierge experience is great.

IMHO...If any of you have had any travelling experience with your job, ie..me, 20 yrs., you already know that a consierge is no big whoop, AND, is free in any upscale hotel such as a Marriott or Hyatt, Hilton, Weston!!

Certainly NOT worth the extra bucks in any Disney resort..when you can buy your own goodies, and what you like, since you now have a refirgerator in all the rooms!! And IMHO...that suffices.
