How is the TRaffic and safety in the area of 192?

I heard that there is MORE Traffic than international drive area (were i used to stay ) and now i'm a bit worried! staying at hampton inn off parkway blvd, which is off 192....

thanks! how easy/hard is it to get to and from parks???

Parkway Blvd. isn't that bad (just watch those speed bumps traveling to down the street). Actually this is one area of 192 that is easy access to WDW with not too much traffic. You have a couple of different options to get to WDW from there. You can go right on 192 and get on either I-4 and then take the Disney exits or you can go a little further to World Drive and take that into the parks. Another option is to go left and take S. International Drive to Osceola Parkway and then OP to WDW.

As for safety, I use to live on Parkway Blvd (until just a couple of months ago) and never had a problem. There are a couple of sheriffs that lived in the apartment complex but I am not sure if they still live there now that the place has gone condo.
