I don’t know . . . I love Pringles, but they tend to break when I use them in dip. I find a kettle chip holds up a little better (although I usually just get the jalapeño flavored ones and forego the dip).

Oh, the secret to Pringles + dip is layering! Grab 3–4 at a time and you’ve got a chip-turned-scoop worthy of any dip challenge. But I’ve gotta agree with the Ruffles crew (or any good wavy knockoff) – those ridges are basically built to hold half the bowl.

For regular dips, I would say plain ruffles, or wavy lays. For nacho, cheese, or salsa, Tostitos Scoops.

Yeah, any kind of ruffled or wavy style chip works. Of course, for salsa and queso, tortilla chips are best.
