How is the MAGIC EXPRESS SERVICE from the airport?

So on average how long before you get to the resorts? I'm staying at CSR this go around. How many resorts could possibly be sharing a bus?

I think it depends on how many are waiting and how many buses are available. On our way back to the airport, from POFQ, we stopped at 4 or 5 other resorts before finally heading to the airport ! And there were already people in the bus when we got on, so there must have been at least one other stop before POFQ. It took over an hour & a half to get to MCO. We had to rush to get our flight, next time we'll request they pick us up 4hrs before our flight instead of 3. I think you should expect it to take about an hour, maybe an hour & a half, from the airport to your resort.

I used ME outbound last July from GF and I was the last stop. Check-in was a breeze since no one was there. However, our October trip was different. I missed the bus waiting to check in the luggage. I won't make that mistake ever again. I'm using it only for in-bound this time. So, 1 1/2 hours to get to the resort. Ok, just wanted to know what to expect. I sure hope we get in earlier. :wizard: The sooner, the better. ;)

we shared with WL, CR, and GF...in that order of drop off...Poly was before GF.

For the trip to the resort, they will make up to three stops. I have been on one bus that has been full to the gills...we stopped at AKL, CSR, and then on to POP. A ton of people got off at CSR, so it took a bit of time to get them the bags they had had the driver put under the bus. But, that is the only time it has taken me close to 90 mins to get from the plane to my resort. Other times, about 4, it has taken about 70 mins.
When you pack, be sure to have carryon's with anything you may need for the first day of your trip. I always pack swimsuits, clean undies, shorts/tees, park passes and IDs, travel sizes of suntan lotion, shampoo and deoderant. This way we can either change into swim suits and swim for a bit, or change into warm weather clothes right away. If the checked luggage doesn't come for a few hours, it's not a big deal for us. But, we have always traveled this way.

How full have the busses been, typically?

The buses are luxury coach buses, so everyone will have the same comfy seat. There is no squishing, or standing. Max capacity for a bus is 57, although some are only 45.

Depending on the time of day, no more than 3-4 resorts per bus. Resorts are grouped by location. Stops are usually very quick.

They have been nice and comfy, but the driver we had last time went on and on and on about how he works for tips. Turned us off...luckily he said that the DME busses were run by Mears, made me feel annoyed with them and not Disney!
