I had lunch at the Garden Grill last spring and really enjoyed it. It was a friend of mine, and myself, and even though we were only a party of 2 adults, the characters were great. They stopped at our table, goofed around a bit, and posed for pictures.
This May, DH and I will be trying to show our DAunt(75) a good time at WDW, since she hasn't been there in over 20 years, and Epcot and Animal Kingdom didn't even exist!
We're going to have dinner at Restaurant Marrakesh (we've eaten there a couple of times and really enjoyed it) on one night, but we need a lunch on the day that we start out at Epcot.
DH has never dined at Garden Grill but has always wanted to, and I think DAunt would enjoy this character meal (we're doing the Crystal Palace for lunch on our last day) because she'll get to meet Mickey Mouse up close.
I'm just wondering how the food is lately? When I had lunch there in May 2007 the food was pretty decent; it all seemed very fresh. I loved the cranberry relish which I spooned over the turkey, and I loved the cheese potatoes, the fresh veggies, and the dessert.
I'd love to read some recent reviews! Thanks!
