Hi there, we head down to VB for the 1st time tomorrrow. Since I am currently 26 weeks pregnant the only real instructions I have from my Dr. is increase my drinking water (4 bottles a day or more.) I wouldn't dream of drinking the water at WDW, is Vero any better? I plan on getting some bottled water, but I don't want a whole case if I can drink some of the water at the resort. (or even the restants.)

Thanks, can't wait, just need to finish paking now!!!!

IMO, the water at Vero is better than the water at WDW but we still drink bottled water at Vero.

I don't really know why but I can notice a smell to the water, even at Vero.

We always grab a couple of waters in the morning from the gift shop because they are nice and cold. We also buy water at the grocery store and put it in the fridge.

Congratulations and enjoy your trip!

I forgot to add.

Have a wonderful time. Make sure you sit out on the porch in the rockers and listen to the ocean. It's wonderful!!

VB is such a special place. The CM's that work there make the guests feel like family. One of the CM's, Sarah, was especially kind to my children on our last trip. I hope she still works there.

Are you planning on eating at the resort? Shutters offers a different flavor of house made sorbet every evening. YUM!! It's not on the menu, for some reason, but they do offer it. The pineapple and the honeydew are especially good.

Be sure to let us know how your trip went upon your return. :sunny:

Thanks for the info, we do plan on eating at shutters, and possibly even Sonyas (depending on the prices on how we feel.) We also want to hit Captain Hariams (sp?) and Ocean Grill maybe, we heard good things about both. I will be sure to try the sorbet a few times! (just what a pregnant mom needs!) I am considering a message if they have the special padding for pregnant women so I can lay on my tummy (I get one every month at the our gym.) We also plan to head to town for my yearly fix of Chick-fil-a. I love that place and there isn't any in Michigan. (its a fun vacation treat for us! Eat more Chicken!)

Just looking at your signature picture I am imaginaning that we are there now. Sounds so nice and relaxing. Not long now.

I will post a trip report when we get back next week!

I hope they are able to do a pregnancy massage for you. I think the massage prices at Vero are very reasonable. DH paid only $55 for an entire hour. Massages cost more than that at our local salon.

Capt. Hiram's is yummy. We all enjoyed it.

I can't wait to go to Vero!!:sunny:

The drinking water is very good at Vero - but do not use my opinion since I think the drinking water at WDW is good (not very good but good) as well

thanks
