We're going to WDW March 11-15. I was wondering how the cell phone reception is? I have the Verizon national plan and I am hoping I will be able to use my phone on the trip.

We're on Verizon too and had no trouble at all this past December.

I am on verizon also and had poor reception at our resort but decent at the parks when we went in Oct.

I had some problems with mine in November. There were certain parts of my resort where I didn't have a signal at all. Around certain rides, I didn't have a good reception either. I have Cingular.

I have T Mobile and could not get a signal from my room at the Boardwalk. However, it worked well outside and in the parks.

My mother and sister both have Verizon, and they called me from inside the Haunted Mansion.

My other sister and I have Sprint, and we got decent reception in the parks. Depending on the ride, we could get service in the actual ride.

With AT&T, I found the reception at WDW very spotty.

It was a challenge to find a spot in parks with decent reception, and I couldn't use the phone from my room at the YC.

Verizon here, and in general it's pretty good. A couple of "spotty" areas I noticed in OKW, but all in all, not bad.

Sprint's worked fine for me (and I think my friend who works there has Sprint) as long as we're outside the rides.

We have Verizon National Plan and had no problems.
