We are staying at BWV in Aug. for 3 nights and we want to try Cape May for breakfast. We have eaten at GF, CP, CM and a few others but never this one. Anyway reviews would be appreciated. Thanks

We ate here a few years back and really enjoyed it. It seemed pretty relaxed compared to many character dining experiences (more like 1900 Park Faire than Chef Mickey's if you get my drift). The character interaction was fabulous... they each came by several times and, in particular, Chip spent a lot of time entertaining my then 9 month old daughter. He just got down on his knees and let her play with his face and kiss his nose for quite a while. in addition, my nephew had to take some medicine and was really reluctant to do so. The characters all came over and cheered him on and when he took it they lead him in a parade around the restaurant. It wasn't really crowded so I think the characters were just looking for stuff to do. I thought the food was good too. We are staying at the Beach Club in Nov and are hoping to fit this one into our plans.

It's one of my favorite character breakfasts. It seems less crowded than a lot of the other and the wood was great. I really liked that they had asparagus on the buffet. Everything was delicious. We liked it so much I have to ADRs for our June/July trip. Its really convenient for us since we're staying at YC.

Even though our children are adults now, my wife and I visit the Cape May breakfast each visit. The food is very good, the atmosphere is very leisurely paced, and the character interaction with the children is fun to watch. Enjoy!

I agree with the others - its a very nice buffet. Its relaxed, the characters come by frequently and spend time with you. We do this on a resort day, so we are not rushed for time, then we stroll around the grounds for a bit and back to our resort for swimming.

You'll enjoy it.

We did it last summer and we're doing it again on our upcoming trip. There was a good selection on the buffet, and I liked the yogurt bar. There was good character interaction, too.

We are looking forward to staying thoses 3 nights at BW and doing things we have never done. We are there Monday through Wed. nights and fly out Thursday evening. We will probably hit EC in the evenings some each of those three nights. I am happy people tend to like the Cape May character breakfast too. Thanks for the input.

We love this one! The character interaction is awesome, the food is great and it is a little more relaxed than some of the others. If you want the craziness and chaos of CM, then you won't get it here. We do this one everytime because we love it so much.

One of our favorites. The food are characters are always great.

I've seen pictures with blueberries and raspberries on the buffet---?

Does anyone know if the breakfast potatoes are vegetarian?

Does anyone know if ARD's are necessary for breakfast? I know they are not for the dinner buffet.

We are going July 4th week and I got reservations a few weeks ago. I would suggest trying to get them if you think you might want to go. I called back last week to try to switch some things around and this breakfast was all booked. I think alot depends on when you are going.

We did the dinner last December - week after Thanksgiving and booked reservations in advance. It was quite crowded and even though we had reservations we had about a 30 minute wait - not too bad. I am not sure if they were taking in any walk ins.

This is the best place to eat for breakfast! We love it and make sure to eat there on every trip. The food is very good and there is a ton of fresh fruit, just about every kind you can imagine.

The times we have been the place is not busy at all so we had alot of times with the characters and they interact with you very well, they write questions for you and play tic tac toe on the paper tablecloth.

Just a great place!

FYI

The last 2 times we went to the dinner buffet they were sold out and turning everyone away and that was in the dead of Feb and the slow week in April.

I may need to post this elsewhere, but considering we are talking about Cape May, I'm going to ask anyway. What is the best way to get to Cape May if using Disney Transportation and staying at POP? Thanks!

Since we have stayed at the Beach Club, the Cape May Breakfast Buffet is our last day morning tradition. We enjoy it.

Take a bus to any park, get on the BC bus from that park

Or....go to Epcot and walk to the back entrance and walk to BC

Or take a cab, drive etc

Not a problem. When we stay at POP and I need to get to BW/YC/BC, I always take the MGM bus and then walk to the resort. The walkway is very nice (unless it's raining or brutally hot!), it takes about 20 mins at a nice normal pace. If you don't want to walk, then you can take a Friendship boat. That can take a bit longer depending on how soon a boat arrives at the dock.
Or you can just take a bus to MK and transfer over to the YC/BC bus.

We always eat at Goofy's breakfast at Cape May on our last day. Since we usually leave just before noon, we like to get a seating at about 9:30ish...then we don't need to worry about lunch. This is one of our favorite breakfasts. It's more relaxed and much less frantic.
We'll be there on Aug 10 for breakfast!! Yum.

We loved it. We got there as it opened on a Sunday and we're pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food not to mention the amount oc character interaction -- all the characters swung by the table numerous times. We've added it to our agenda again this year. Have fun.
