I Made Plans To Go To Prime Time July 10th Is The Food Any Good We Seen It Advertised On The Travel Channel It Looked Liked Alo Of Fun But Is The Food Any Good?????

This is one of our favorites and we go every time. All ages enjoyed this place. we had a 4 yr old, 2 22'yr olds (DS) MIL 70 and us 49. My DH says the salmon here is the best he has ever eaten, the pot roast a d fried chicken are great as well. You will enjoy it, your aunt or cousin etc will make sure you mind your table manners... You are considered family as you walk into your room for the meal and are introduced as cousins. :sunny: :thumbsup2

This place is quite popular I cant say I have heard any bad reviews over the last three years.. We had ADR March 05 and it was so packed we waited and waited to be seated and ended up eatting next door at H&V because there was no waiting and we were starving..H&V was horrible..Anyway we will be keeping the ADR we have in Aug..lol Cant wait to try it and DH and DS are fried chicken fanatics..

What I like best about the food is that it's staple food. Fried chicken, pot roast, meatloaf, etc...we have never had bad food there. Now once we had a not so happy waitress :confused3 . But as for the food it has always been great. One of the places we always eat at now!!!

I have eaten there for the past 3-4 years and have not been disappointed yet. The waiters vary in how much they are "in to" the role; one year we had a very funny guy and my DH (first-timer) didn't get it and thought the guy was hitting on our DD; he didn't take it so well and it was HILARIOUS! The food has always been plentiful and good. I take back the "no disappointment" thing: the first time I went I had a sandwich of steak with Gorgonzola, and it was sooo good and is no longer on the menu. Instead, I get the fried chicken and it's great. Tastes like homemade. We tried the fried Boursin cheese last time we went and it was absolutely delicious.

50's is fun and the food is pretty good! I always get the fried chicken, yumbo!!!!!!!!!! The milkshakes are great too. They used to have the BEST onion rings (the thin type), but on our last visit in July they had gone to the big frozen thick style. :sad2:

We love to eat at Prime Time. I usually get the fried chicken and DW gets the pot roast or meatloaf. All of the meals that we have had were great. There are some servers who don't do all the antics and then there are some who will never give you a break.

It's definitley worth the wait to get in. The food is better than exeryone expects, and it is a fun dining experience.

the pot roast just melts in your mouth, mmmmmmmm. As said previously this is a popular restaurant with all age groups our two sons (14 & 10) can't wait to take their Grandparents for their first visit in 7 weeks time, we love the atmosphere and the food, DS said its like being in an attraction that lets you eat there!
