How is LTT at Lunch

LTT for lunch is great! Love the tavern fried cheese, chowder, pot roast (OMG delicious), and chedder burger!

It is really awesome!! When DH and I were there, I had the fried cheese appetizers (super great), the pot roast (also really great), and the strawberry shortcake for dessert (amazing!!). That strawberry shortcake was one of the few desserts I had during that trip where I was tempted to keep eating until I got sick!! Don't get me wrong, I had other desserts that were yummy, but that strawberry shortcake was a masterpiece. And our waitress was wonderful, too.

I love those biscuit style strawberry shortcakes.

I wanted to like it, and I tried to like it, but just...didn't. It felt very cramped and loud (really loud). The food was on the heavy side, even my entree salad, and didn't taste all that good. The best part of the lunch was the little succotash salad beneath the crabcake appetizer. The crabcake itself was medicore. It was an attractive restaurant, for what that's worth.

I'm glad to hear most everyone so far has enjoyed it. We are traveling with another couple in the fall and my friends husband is the pickiest eater I have ever met. (We are talking a guy who strains his spaghetti sauce so that there isn't anything resembling a veggie left). It looks like there are some selections he would actually enjoy on the lunch menu. I'll have to suggest a late lunch there.

When we last went to Disney, my husband said the only place we didn't eat that he wished we had was the LTT for lunch. My "three boys" (husband and sons) order the pot roast. I love the colony salad. Great meal and to walk into the cool, dark lobby when it is so warm outside is such a good feeling!
