Hi
I have heard some really bad reviews about LTT lately, and I was wondering if it is that bad??? I read great reviews about it last year and I was going to go but couldn't fit it into my schedule, so I was wondering if anyone has been recently??
Thanks

We really enjoy LTT and always have. Character interaction is great too. I never go by reviews. What one person hates, another loves. It's just one of those things that you need to try for yourself. Whatever you decide to do, enjoy!

Do not go by reviews..if the restaurant looks interesting to you try it! There is not one restaurant in WDW that does not have mixed reviews! I ate at LTT in November and while I liked the atmosphere I did not like the food..it was dry and overcooked...it tasted like it sat under a heating lamp for quite sometime

We never miss LTT for dinner but many people dont like it. We joke that we go there for a massive "carb" fix. I cant really tell you why we love it but something about it just makes us happy (that sounds a little corny)!

Like the other posters said, ignore the reviews and give it a try if it interests you. Worse that can happen is that you decide not to go back again.:goodvibes

My whole family feels the same way about LTT ~ the lunch is fabulous food. The character dinner....well....we don't like the food as much as lunch, but the character interaction is good and we do enjoy the family-style food service. It has a nice atmosphere. Give it a shot. If I had to choose, though, I'd go with lunch and then have a character meal elsewhere.

we love LTT for lunch (crabcakes, turkey dinner)

not fond of any character dinners/buffets....

We REALLY enjoyed our lunch there last year. We have not yet had dinner at LTT, but are trying it this year. I read everyone's reviews and consider them when making my choices, but I always still say try each place once and make your own judgment. People hihgly recommended Boatwright's for dinner last year and we hated it. But then people turned us on to the Plaza Restaurant and LeCellier and they are two of our must dos every trip.

If you like comfort food, than you will likely enjoy LTT. The whole atmosphere is very comfy. :)

we go every year. it was good in december! dont miss it

I just made our ADR here for Sept!! Right before the MNSSHP!!! My friend recomended it...perfect place to start the party!!

We went for the first time in September for dinner. The first strange thing I noticed was that the place smelled like spaghetti... weird! I found the meal to be pretty mediocre. The meats were very dry, but the ham had a good flavor. The side dishes were nothing special. Service was OK. Character interaction was OK, not great.

We went during our trip last July. While nothing overly spectacular, there was great interaction with the characters and good quality turkey dinner.

We ate at the character dinner in February and it was YUM, YUM, YUM. By far our favorite meal of the trip. We had a great salad and the best rolls ever and our meal was turkey, ham & roast beef, with mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese, green beans, stuffing & gravy. Apple pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Everything was wonderful and our server Sandy was excellenet. The character interaction was great and this was probably our most relaxing meal of the trip....

We went in OCtcober we were there for the MNSSHP!

But we went in early to eat.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!
The food was good the Characters were great with the kids and we had a whole table full of just kids!!!!

Posting soem pics of characters there ...the characters were dressed up for Halloween!

We love LTT. Have eaten there for dinner every trip, and have an ADR again for our upcoming April trip. I read a lot of bad reviews myself, but frankly, we have always found the meal very good, for what it is, the character interaction fantastic, and the atmosphere very comfortable and cozy.

The character interaction was great and the salad was to die for, but besides that DH and I weren't very impressed. It was a good location to eat before attending MVMCP, but I don't think we'd do it again. Though, to each their own! :)

we have eaten at the LLT many times for lunch and dinner and always had a great time food is better at lunch than dinner but dinner is ok too:thumbsup2

I can totally relate! LTT was our first character meal and we were hooked, we have gone back ever since! The food was good for us, the mac n cheese that is Stouffers was good. The dressing is delicious and DH loved the dessert.
LTT has wonderful character interaction and we just love when they call your faminly name to be seated.
