How is it supposed to work???

For anyone lucky enough to stay at a club level or conceirge (sp??) level, how is it supposed to work? We're staying club level at AKL in December (got a good deal-at least we think so!!) and decided to upgrade. This will probably be our first and only club level stay but the website (disneyworld.com) that there are staff available prior to and during the trip to assist with planning. Each call, we've been transferred to another number and not getting any help from the resort itself. If this is how it's going to be, I really can't justify the cost!

Besides all the stuff the Animal Kingdom Lodge IPO Cast Members can do for you before you arrive, there is also the Cast Members who will be working in the Club Level lounge at the Resort. So they could make you any last minute ADR's and get anything else you would need. Plus don't forget there is the continental breakfast, afternoon snacks, 5:00 PM hors d'oeuvres and 8:00 PM dessert and cordials.

The IPO office at AKL is staffed by very helpful people. I've called and left a message and it was returned the next day.

In addition to restaurant reservations and the lounge with food and drinks all day, there are certain "safaris" that you can only book if you stay at AKL Club Level. The IPO office can tell you more about them, or you can find information here on this board.

They will most likely contact you within a week or two of when you made your reservation. If you want their number, here it is: 407-938-4868. Most often I get sent to voicemail, but my calls have always been returned!

I hear it's great there -- haven't tried it yet but we will on our next trip to WDW. Have a great time!
