Could anyone tell me what the weather/rain/crowds are like the first or second week of June. THANKS!!! :sunny:

HONESTLY??? Weather-very hot and rainy...RAIN-yes definitely...Crowds-for sure especially the first week of June with the Gaydays events. Make sure to have lots of ADR's if planning to dine out.

I go June 5-12 and have heard the first 2 weeks are not near as busy as the second 2 weeks of June. I'm kinda hoping for a little of that rain. Know it will be humid, but at least we'll be cooled off from the rain!

We are there this week too and we are also hoping for lower crowds since a lot of schools won't be out yet. I guess we will see.

We have been to WDW the week of July 4th and the last week of June and it is very HOT! It usually rained at least once a day, some days more.

It isn't my favorite time to go, but we are going with extended family and we don't all have the same spring break, so we have to go in the summer.

It's hot and it's crowded, but...

The parks are open some of the longest hours of the year, most all the attractions are up and running, and hey, you're at Disney World, how bad can it be?? :earboy2:

We were there during early June two years in a row..first year was SO HOT we really cooked (& we are used to heat), plus yep it was crowded.

Second year it rained ALOT so wasn't as hot, crowds seemed thinner.
It is really hit & miss!

We always go the last week of May/first week of June.

In the last 5 years, we have had everything from absolutely beautiful weather with very little rain to 10 days of heavy rain every day. Even when it rains, it's hot.

We're from Louisiana and we are definitely used to the heat and humidity and it can still get to us. :sunny:

Same for the crowds. We've experienced everything from moderate crowds with minimal waits for most rides to extremely crowded conditions. Last year was the worst. Several days we didn't even use Fastpass. By noon they were either all gone or were for later hours when we would no longer be in the park.

Having said all that, we're still going back this June. It's just a time that works out best for us. Hopefully we'll catch a good weather / low crowd year!! :lmao:

It rained so hard our first day on our trip in June that I think the water was almost up to our ankles in MK...no joke! We were completely soaked. It was oppressively HOT....honestly, we did not enjoy going in June and will avoid it at all costs, but there are those that love it.....

All I can say is YUK! We were there last June and the heat was bearable, but the crowds were in my opinon HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! :sad2: I promised myself never again!
Yes, the only saving grace was that the parks are open late and that is your best bet. Let me say we are use to late Aug./early Sept. crowds (minimal in comparison to June). As aways however, you are in Disney and anytime in Disney is better then No time!! Have fun and stay cool!!!!

All I can say is Rain. Bring a poncho from home that is durable plus a ball cap to keep the rain out of your face. Just be a duck and have a great time.

The last 2 times we've gone have been the 1st week or 2 of June. It's always been hot and it usually rains most days, but we've never had a complete wash out. We just take ponchos and go on and have fun. We're going this year in mid-June due to scheduling problems. Can't wait. I love going in the fall, however, with kids in school and stuff we can't do that now. June is definitely our best bet. As someone said in an earlier post. You're in Disney, how bad can it be?!!!!! :teeth:

Early June last year lot's of rain. Still had a great time though.

Thanks everyone! Hmmm.........not sure if I like June after all! :scratchin My first trip to WDW was early August and it was HOT! HOT!-we could not stand it, so maybe have to rethink the time. I do remember the rain coming every day around 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Last year we went in April and it honestly wasn't that bad. Back to square 1.

If you don't have kids, off-season is terrific! Or if you do have kids and a fall break, that's a great time to go too.

We love late Sept/Oct....it's still pretty warm but no where near as bad as the summer months and the rain (usually) has subsided.....
