How is Disney in October?

Could somebody give me a general idea on how the weather and crowds are like at Disney in the middle of October?

WDW in October is great!

The early morning can be a little cool but the days warm up nicely (sometimes too much!). Very little rain, if any. But, it is still hurricane season so anything's possible.

MNSSHP and the F&WF are super fun.

We love Disney in October bring a jacket just in case. Some days are hot.

We usually go to WDW in September or early December. I have heard that October is a great month to go to WDW. However, many people go to WDW during school's fall break in October. I am not sure how busy WDW gets!

morns and nights are cool days are hot, we went on oct 22 for our honeymoon last year and it was hot, like water park hot. without a doubt oct if my fav time of year to go. i have gone 5 times in oct now.

We have gone the last 2 years in mid October. I absolutely love it! The last 2 years have been quite hot most days (high 80's with humidity and low to mid 90's). Very little to no rain. Crowds were much higher than I had anticipated (I think because of Food and Wine Festival, although we did not attend). Nights can get a little chilly (for me at least, but I get cold easy). We are doing end of August this year, but only because I won the trip.......otherwise, we had planned to take the year off from WDW and go again in Oct or Nov of 2007. I'll take Aug in WDW over not going at all any day!

Avoid Columbus day weekend...but otherwise Oct. is the best. I would aim toward the end of the month due to the seemingly later hurricane seasons of recent years (Wilma almost messed up our trip last year)....otherwise the weather can be really nice. Be sure to do MNSSHP; it's worth every penny. Water parks & pools might be chilly.
