We are going for the first time in April 2006...We watched the vacation DVD lots of times and took a special liking to the Coronado Springs Resort...How is it really????

We absolutely love it, stay there everytime. We switched this last trip and tried POR b/c of a better rate and because we heard such great things about it. We did not like it. The food court isnt as good at CSR, the quiet pools arent as nice, the transportation is much much worse, slower and the buses were packed every single time. We are a married couple in our mid-late 20's and will continue staying at CSR every year we go back.

We just got back from CSR and we all really liked it! The kids loved the Mayan Temple pool and the adults liked the quiet pool. The grounds are very pretty and we found lots of great stuff to eat at the Pepper Market. We had no problems catching a bus to/from where ever we wanted to go....I think our longest wait for a bus was 10 minutes. The place is HUGE....we got lost going back to our room the first night, but there were plenty of signs to direct us to the right building.

We love CSR. Check out my CSR website below for pics, links and info.

I think it's the nicest Moderate.

Some people complain about the size (too large), and some complain about the food court (too expensive). The size makes it feel not so crowded, the food court give you enought so that DW and I always split our meals (wet burrito is really good and big enough for three).

The main pool is better than most deluxes (excluding SAB at YC/BC).

The buss service is best of all resorts.

The rooms are slightly small and not as quiet, but who stays in their room at WDW?

If you can't stay deluxe, stay CSR!!!!

CSR is our favorite place to stay!!! Great resort, rooms, Pepper Market, Bus Service, and Pool!

We loved it there. We found the buses and restaurants to be empty due to the convention folks staying there. The grounds were so pretty, and it was very quiet and peaceful for such a large resort.

Wow, I'm happy I read this thread. Super happy. Looking forward to my next trip and CSR.

CSR is my favorite moderate. The pool is great! I am going to a conference there in June and I can't wait!

I would say that CSR is our favorite moderate resort. We've stayed there twice and had no problems either time. It's beautiful, conveniently located, has a sit down restaurant as well as the utmost in "Food Courts", the Pepper Market. I don't even feel right calling it a Food Court. The pool is fabulous. I can't think of one bad thing to say.

Love CSR, really great moderate. Would not want to stay at any other...we're hooked! :goodvibes

i loved CSR! i am determined to try every moderate & deluxe resort (one value for me was enough) so we'll be staying at CBR this time, but i admit i was tempted to go back to CSR. we had a lovely time there last march.

We stayed at CSR the week of Labor Day and it was wonderful. We loved the cabana section and was between 2 bus stops and directly across from the walkway to the Digsite. We were in Cabanas 9A, I believe. Anyway it is a beautiful resort and we LOVED it. I really liked the Pepper Mkt but DH just thought it was Ok.

We have been there twice and are going back for a third time this December.
We love the place.

CSR is our favorite moderate!!! Last June we stayed at POR (my DH likes to try different resorts) and we all found ourselves wishing we were at CSR. We love the pool and slide, lots of fun, and Pepper Market has great variety and good food!!! DS12 loves the 2 gamerooms!!! It's fun to take a surrey or a walk around the resort in the evening when all the lights are sparkling off the lake...Can't wait till August for our return!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Another one here who loves CSR. That was our honeymoon hotel. Hope you have a great stay. I know we always do.

We love CSR and prefer it even to some of the DVC digs we get to use IMHO it is a deluxe at modertate prices.
