Woudl love to hear from anyone who has eaten at Citricos.......how was the food, setting, service? Is it open every day for dinner or only at certain times? We will be eating with our 5 yr old son....is it too posh for children?
Thanks!

We ate there this past September. It was very nice, I think they are closed on Mondays. We dressed up but there were plenty of people with children and dressed casually.

We had great service, a nice view of the marina and really good food. We were so full that there was no room for dessert.

I like it a lot!! In fact, we'll be going again next May. Probably fewer kids "per capita" than at most WDW spots, but every time we've dined at Citricos, there were children. They are still closed Monday and Tuesday, I believe. Dress is the Disney version of "business casual", meaning swimwear, t-shirts, flip-flops, and tank-tops are out. Most all else is "in" including dress shorts and "jean pants".

It's divine. My favorite restaurant in WDW: quiet, formal, with a creative menu and exemplary service.

Not anymore! BCV23 just confirmed that Citricos will open on Tuesdays, at least for the time being.

Also one of my favorites. We've never been there with kids but have always seen kids there. We'll be there with our two nieces in January, they're 8 and 13.

Divine is also the word I would have chosen. Go for it! :goodvibes

Amazing is my word ;) I had the best filet I've ever tasted there in October - I didn't want it to end! Atmosphere is pretty casual but we went on a Thurs night around 9pm and most were dressed nicely (heels, sport shirts, etc) and no children to be seen = but some were leaving when we arrived. Great service, incredible food.

Glad to hear that they will be open on Tuesdays again!! Let's hope it is permanent, and not just a "holiday" thing---.

Thanks for the great feedback! Jake (5yrs) has eaten at California Grill and Flying Fish, so if it's a comparable atmosphere he should be fine!!! I'm going to make PS now! Should I request a particular table/view? Most importantly, for a girl with a sweet tooth, are the desserts good?!!

We ate at Citrico's this past May and it was fabulous. All courses were great. We made this our "romantic" dinner and left our 5 year old son at the Mouseketeer Club, which he loved. The restaurant was elegant, but not stuffy in the least. The desserts were outstanding, I had called ahead to arrange the Cinderella slipper for my wife and I ordered the Cheescake creation below. If you look at the thread about pictures of Disney dining, there are more pictures from Citrico's.
