I thought that CA was quite a nice park despite some of the things I had heard about it. We spent a full day there with a 3 yr old and he had a very good time even though he wasn't tall enough for a lot of the rides. He liked the Sun Wheel, King Triton's Carousel, It's Tough to Be a Bug, The Muppets 3-D etc. He spent a great deal of time on the S.S. Rustworthy boat (kind of lame for adults but he had a blast). The best part was the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. I wasn't going to bother going there because on the map it showed a height restriction but a CM said to go since the restriction only applied to a couple of activities. Honestly, my son had a blast in here! It's basically a play area for kids but there are a ton of rope bridges etc. and he had a great time on these (we were probably there for 1-1/2 hours!). He also liked Superstar Limo (it was pretty dumb). We stayed for the Electrical Parade (he loved it) and Luminaria (OK, but not what I would call spectacular). All in all, it was a full day for us and quite enjoyable even though we couldn't go a lot of the rides. I guess it would depend on one's child as to whether they'd really love it or not. Mine did. I forgot to mention that he got to meet Sulley and Mike from Monsters, Inc. so he was pretty excited about that too.
