Nevermind. I finally got back to the podcast after having to pause it for a meeting, and heard that the puppy is ok. Geesh, when work gets in the way *wink

Thanks for asking. He's doing great and you wouldn't even notice that he was bit. I hate that I had to kill the snake, but he was too aggressive.

Well I always say, if I was in the snakes home I would leave it alone. But since it was at your home (near your dogs and kids) then I say you did right, and tell it to come back next time as something warm and fuzzy.

oh, no! I didn't listen yet to this podcast. I'm glad that your dog is okay. We lived in Va. for several years & my son got bit by a baby copperhead.
When the fireman saw the snake we were saving for them to identify I guess he wasn't expecting it to be alive. He stepped on it & squashed it beyond identification.
again, glad your doggie is doing well!

I just did a forum search to see if anyone asked how Bailey was doing, poor little guy! Glad he is ok. I know it is 'normal' in FL for you to see and deal with snakes, but I still think you sound pretty brave Corey, handling this yourself!
