How intense is rocknroller coaster?

So my 6yo is 49 inches high (meets the height requirement), and loves all of the coasters at MK. Her favorites in all of WDW are Space Mtn and Test Track.

I haven't rode rocknroller coaster in many years-

I think she would be fine with the dark, speed and the inversions, but she doesn't love big drops-

Are there big drops?

Would you say that it is more or less intense than Everest? (I'm more familiar with that one)

Thanks!!

I would say it's a tad less intense than Everest - the backwards part of that one really does a number on me!

It's much smoother than Everest! I actually think RnRC is less intense than many other roller coasters. Big Thunder and Space Mountain are both incredibly jarring, IMO. I come off of RnRC and continue with my day. No need to get my bearings first. Lol.

Ha! I hear you. DD had us ride Space 4x in a row- I'm not sure my inner ear was the same for the rest of the trip! Hahahahah

It depends on what you mean by "intense."

Yes, it is very, very smooth. No, there are no drops.

But I can't ride it. The take off jars me to the bone. I really messes me up. I end up sore all over.

I can handle the backwards on EE, but you can't get me to ride RnR again.

That one is the worst! My hips always hurt from being tossed around so much!! You're a saint for riding 4x in a row. I'm not sure I love my kid enough that I would do that for him!

Between the take off and the upside down, my kids would have a stroke at 8 and 5 but all kids are different! RNRC is my favorite ride in all of Disney but my kids are not ready.

I think RNRC is way more intense than EE. The speed and takeoff are too rough for me. My 7 year old has never been on it but love EE.

You guys are cracking me up.

I think she will LOVE the take off, the dark, and the music. I thjnk she will be fine with the inversions.

Now I'm starting to worry about me heheheheh....

I think RnR is WAY more intense than any other ride in the Disney parks. The zero to OMG start and the headache-inducingly loud music seem to add to the intensity. SM may be physically more jarring, but to me it's a peaceful ride through space compared to getting shot out of a cannon and getting screamed at like RnR. I love them both though!

My 8-year-old loves SM, tolerates EE, and hates RnR. He will usually ride it anyway, but every time he comes off of it he declares his hate for it and insists he'll never ride again. All our pictures from RnR are of three family members grinning like the Cheshire Cat and my son grimacing like he's being tortured.

Omigosh you are funny. Interesting point.

Do you remember a big, tummy-lurching drop?

I just rode it about ten days ago and don't remember a big drop. The beginning where you are shot out and then go upside down were the parts I thought were most intense - and the most fun!!

It's a relatively medium coaster made better by rocket launch, running in the dark with strobe, and good RNR throughout. Plus who doesn't enjoy a ride in a stretch limo! :cool2:

No big drop but the start gives you that same feeling in your tummy. It's a really smooth coaster and I love it because of the Aerosmith blaring in my ear.

Clearly an "intense" scale would be highly personal. I have ridden all the WDW coasters many times. And To me, space is the most "intense", followed by RnRC. I find both much more intense than BTMRR or EE.
