How hot is it in cabin in august

Hi I'm really thinking the cabins are best option for our family of 6 as we love camping and thought of outdoor space for the kids is just what we need and love. However we will be travelling in August and I just wondered what the cabins were like during this time. Thanks

The cabins all have AC, so will be comfortable in summer like all the hotels.

I've been there in the dead of summer and was incredibly surprised at how good the A/C system in the cabins is. We had no problem keeping it as cool as we liked it, no matter how hot and humid it is outside.

I think it's actually better than some of the hotel room A/C, as it's real system that is controlled from each cabin and is NOT on a motion sensor.

We were there mid-late August last summer. It was great. Everything is in shade, so we used the deck for grilling and eating dinner. It was so nice to be out in the fresh air and not cooped up in a room with the smell of dirty socks and sweaty clothes

The A/C was great and cooled off quickly. No issues at all.

Thanks for replies. Can I ask how we're the buses and boats during August.

Depends upon what part of August. They're more crowded early, and as the schools in the south begin for the fall, the parks get emptier and emptier. That's why it becomes low season - oh, and also because it's the start of hurricane season.

Actually, hurricane season runs from June - October, but the busiest months are August - September. If you want to feel safer (if buying a package) you could get trip insurance. You can cancel closer to the check in date with 'room only' than with a package.
