We are planning a primarily DW trip this fall, but are going to allot one day for Universal. We are planning on doing the Spiderman breakfast and then spending the morning/early afternoon in the park. We have never been to Universal before so we don't know anything about it. I don't think we will have time to do the whole park will we? We are hoping to eat lunch at Margaritaville after finishing up the parks and heading out. Is this a feasible option? I know that Margaritaville is supposed to be located at CityWalk~ is that close the the Islands Of Adventure or will we need to find a different place to grab lunch?
TIA,

Couple of questions...When in the fall are you going? And are you planning on doing both parks (IOA and Universal Studios) or just IOA?

Margaritaville is indeed in City Walk. City Walk is sandwiched between IOA and Universal. It is about a 5 minute walk between the two parks through City Walk, so everything is very convenient. Margaritaville is about a 3 minute walk from the entrance to IOA and a bit farther from the entrance to Universal.

Here is a map of CityWalk. Margaritaville is all the way to the right, indicated by the parrots. The entrances to the parks are on either side of City Walk, across the Lagoon. Although both NBA and Hard Rock (not hotel) are on the parks side of the lagoon, inbetween the two park entrances.

We are arriving at DW on the 10th of November, and checking out the 15th of November. I don't know what day we are going to devote to Universal though as we want to do the MVMCP, and I am waiting on official dates from DW to make my ADR's for Disney and then I am going to fit in Universal since it seems like it is more flexible than DW.
Thanks for your help!! Any more would be appreciated.

Park hopping is VERY easy, you could easily go back and forth 2-3 times in a day , go to Citywalk for lunch and not feel worn out.
