how hard to get desired loop?

I admit it, we run til we drop at WDW. And our kids are super troupers. They keep marching happily along...

until


We admit we are heading back to bed. Then they collapse. So, the wait for the bus to get deep into FW is the only meltdown time on our trips.

So the question is, what are the chances of getting into the 100, 200, 700, or 400 loops? I was just looking at a map and those looked like the best walk-from=the=boat choices, in that order.

I believe three of those are pet loops but when you make your reservation ask them to note your requested loops. But no guarantees. I would think with your very open request, you should get one of those.

It's pretty much hit and miss. There really is no way to 100% guarantee a site, although you have a better chance if you request one ahead of time. It's basically like getting a surprise, sometimes you get exactly what you wanted, sometimes you get something that is good enough, and sometimes you get something you didn't really want at all....lol

You can see by our signature that we have been to Ft. Wilderness a number of times. We always request a specific loop when we make our reservations. Maybe we are lucky, but we have always gotton our request! It helps if you make reservations 6 months or more in the future

We kind of enjoyed the melt down when we had our #1 and #2 DGSs staying with us for almost 2 years. We made it a point to stay at FW almost once a month. #2 was 2.5yo and #1 was 4.5yo when we first got them. We would request 1000 or 1100 or 1300 or 1400 and got what we wated most of the time but we made ressies well in advanced. Just call FW 5/6 days before your arrival to confirm they have your requests.

Only the 700 loop is a pet loop.
